The Phantom Menace is actually Good. It has cringey moments but when you adjust for the effects of nostalgia, all the OT films do too.

You didn’t attend her funeral? So as you say this was a women who you knew since you were toddlers. I assume that means you were pretty good friends. Instead of being there for those two children when they probably need people the most you got on your high horse and road away.
how many times are we going to do this dance?
The Last Jedi was great and fuck all y’all that hated it.
Hot takes, getcher hot takes here! They’re grown on the slopes of Mount Nicaragua and contain no artificial sweeteners!
Unfortunately, in my experience, Star Trek fans aren’t much better. I think there is some parallel between the Discovery backlash and the The Last Jedi backlash. Some entitled fans don’t like seeing women of color in the captain’s chair.
He almost certainly did not come up with that himself, or he did independently. I’ve seen tweets and tumblr posts with the same sentiment though not the exact wording. Maybe it’s just a “sample” of someone else’s. Hell, now that I think about it, I’m pretty sure Maria Bamford most likely said something in either her…

Fun fact: in order of the plot of Empire Strikes Back to make any sense, either Han and Leia would have had to spend months living in a giant alien mouth cave or Luke would have had to spend all of two days training on Dagobah.
The only thing worse than The Last Jedi is people still complaining about The Last Jedi.
i love seeing you all be so upset over not understanding a movie. It’s delightful.
aw, sorry you didn’t get it lol
This twist really, really bugged me. Darth Maul is a cool character design, but, as he is established in Episode One, he—like basically all characters in the prequels—has absolutely no personality. His defining attribute is “evil.” I really liked how The Last Jedi fought against the idea that everything has to be…
