I haven't seen Heroes since then, but I remember that Season 1 was a masterpiece. They should have finished the series there.

The End had so many unfullfilled broken expectations because they decided to focus on a love story. It still was amazing and touching, but we wanted to see an alternate reality where the smoke monster escapes and destroys everything!

They should have Paul Dini writting ideas for every show with a deep mythology!
