Normally when it comes to these types of games more effort goes into dungeons and end game than into making the world alive.

It's WoW with housing, paths, active combat. It's still a themepark. It's still a very artificial world with quest hubs, and end game comprised of raids. Not my cup of tea. It's a very polished MMO though. If that suit your tastes jump in and enjoy.
