I dismiss pretty much anyone’s opinion as soon as I see the use of “PC”. I no longer have any interest in what that person has to say because it indicates to me that they care less about actual human beings than about not being able to say whatever they want without criticism.

People are going here and there constantly in Emergency Depts; 24/7. It’s not a place you’d expect to be able to isolate someone (even the isolation bays are monitored).

But most other jobs hours aren’t off book as much and publicly funded. If I complain about mine as a software developer people at leas believe me on the time I spend working and they aren’t usually the ones paying my salary.

We also need more people to stand up and say that rape kits are often a total farce, an intentionally psychologically re-traumatizing experience in many places basically designed to dissuade most victims from coming forward.
