lol, not to judge cause I fell into one of these buckets years ago, but I feel Denny’s has either a 2 am drunk college crowd or a stereotypical conservative family. and i most definitely have never been here with family.

the poo poo one is hands down amazing.

Free weights are GREAT! If you’re into machines, sometimes, you have to wait until someone’s done or try to get a set in between someone else’s set. With free weights, if someone has the weight I want, I will typically go one weight of dumbbells lower and increase my reps, or increase the weight and do fewer reps.

I like Swift about 25% more now.

I couldn’t resist :P

Those POS systems make it really easy to tip, so I typically will tip if it’s something more complicated like a cappuccino.

I totally want to be friends with them. Not for the bathtub part - I don’t care about that. Just to eat and chill.

Amen. Amen. Amen.

I’d vote for her.

I think I’d get sued for punching the clown in the face.

The disappointing thing is when people think healthy, they think bland. Healthy food does NOT need to be bland. So it’s disappointing that his restaurant was bland and not worth it. The only food experience he SEEMS to have on the show is being eye-candy (heh heh... couldn’t resist).

You. You win today.

I mean... when the bacon fat starts to render in the skillet or pan, isn’t it technically frying at that point since the bacon has some flour on it...? Either way sounds freakin amazing and I am sad I didn’t try this place when I lived in Austin. But will definitely try this method soon.

I was speechless when he started speaking Mandarin. There’s definitely more to Cena than meets the eye. I’d certainly watch a show of Cena eating around the world.

Hah. That’s actually adorable and you should be proud of your attempt! Honestly, when I don’t have the right tools (the colander or spaetzle press), you can use a teaspoon to get a small piece, dip the spoon in the boiling water until the dough falls off, and then grab another piece. It works just as well.

fellow slovak! yea i grew up with my mom making this, and now i constantly make it for my SO. it’s one of his absolute favorite dishes i make.

Being Slovak, I’d like to think my paprikash is pretty famous (at least among friends), and yea, Hungarian smoked paprika is an absolute must - the more the better! Might I suggest instead of using cream, use sour cream mixed with a little bit of lemon juice and flour to mix into the paprikash (towards the end). And

Braised oxtail is perfect because you can literally just put it into a slow cooker and forget about it. Seared scallops is pretty challenging. A second too long and it’s ruined. A second too short and you’ll be dating the toilet for a day or two.

The best way to use Velveeta is to throw it in the trash :P Sorry, not sorry.

Eh, I pay my credit card balance every Friday and do my best not to splurge every 5 minutes. Also, I enjoy getting miles and points for every CC usage - I don’t get that with debit or cash.
