That’s how subcontracting works. Otherwise, they would have set schedules and be forced to work when Uber wanted them to work, not when they want to work.
But in places where we have a crap transportation system and an even worse taxi service, Uber has been great. It has been highly successful in Birmingham so far.

The hotel never gave out the room number, the perp got it by accessing the room service telephone. Asking for a room next to someone is common, I’ve done it many times traveling with family.
