With so many great little moments in this episode, it was easy to forget Renard's offer to take his jacket off while shooting the political ad. I laughed and wondered if it was a nod/tease to those of us who appreciate the shirtless Renard.

Good catch— I missed Rosalee's gift.
All I know is that I'm happy you all are talking about this because now I will read it. Thanks!
Awesome
The short is just that— short. But, it and the films was an awesome thing to see and the Quays interview is now my favorite "after film viewing" interview. They were delightfully informative and blunt when necessary. The answer "That's your problem!" to an audience member who was trying to push her own view onto…
When they showed these in NY earlier this year, the Quays attended and answered questions after. Even they hadn't seen their work on the big screen in many, many years. I am so happy Nolan helped make this happen.
Oh, great!
Some of these (and the Nolan short) are still being shown in theaters across the U.S. and parts of Canada. If you can see them on a large screen— do it. They are shot in 35mm but almost never shown in theaters. https://zeitgeistfilms.com/…
Oh, that's right. That could be it.
I have seen the rat and the cockroach in NYC— but not the others. The rat gets used a lot and it definitely has a major presence. It would be insane if the factory that is responsible for these was crappy to its workers— and yet, it could be.
And, how did Trubel know where they were? Did I miss something?
"Well, then you fight him." BAH Ha haaaahaaaa!
Yeah, it felt out of place. And, it reminds me that this is the strangest "safe house".
Also, Les, I cannot remember if I said thank you for reviewing this show. I am really happy to read your take on the show and thankful that this spot is here. Even though I am not big commenter, I find everyone's input just such a fun and good read. So, thanks to Les, and everyone here—- the group who used to hang…
If everything moved as fast as Nick and Adalind, her kids would be fighting teens in a few more episodes.
My reaction was "what in the hell is he doing?!?"— and that was about the most excited I got during this episode.
Thank you for this joyful reminder!
I MISS that movie and anything Danny Kaye.
Well, now I want giant eagles in the game. Damn.
