My thoughts exactly. There is nothing really compelling enough about this series that I would recommend it to others, but still I continue to watch. I think it is the combination of the convenience of the DVR, and the curse of the “just good enough” limited run series. The pilot was not great but I figured I would

Can’t have school shootings if there are no schools. - Betsy Devos

Watched this with girlfriends parents and her brother and his wife. All of them NRA, trumptards, except my GF. They kept yelling trumpublican and nra talking points every time a kid would speak. Was brutal. All were in agrreement....”If I had a gun I would’ve shot him in a second.” “Need more guns in school!”

I have a tri-annual habit of Googling them/her to see if there will be any sort of reunion shows.

A roommate in college got me hooked on Curve. Got to see them twice after their Cuckoo album. After that they lost Debbie Wilson who made up a lot of their trippy guitar sound and their quality went a notch lower. Such a totally underappreciated band, especially since Garbage ripped off their sound and made bank.

Curve such a great band. The whole Shoegaze genre died when the Britpop scene showed up. I never got to see them live, love Toni’s voice.

Now playing

I was so late to the party on Curve.. I picked up Horror Head right as they rebooted and started doing crowd funded stuff online and I pre-bought everything they offered and they are still some of my favorite tracks and albums.

That “just write a Cloverfield movie from the start!” complaint in the article misses the entire point of the franchise, which is to take a certain kind of original sci-fi thriller script which would otherwise get little attention and attach a known name to it. It’s like telling a scholarship program “Why don’t you

It can be two things.

I can never quite decide if the shitty “our intern knocked out this design in an afternoon” design of The General is a sign that they are a thrifty but reputable company or a fly-by-night operation just looking to sucker people into their shitty insurance.

You’d think that, but it’s actually the Mengele effect.

I read an article that McQuarrie wanted to bring Paula and/or Maggie back for “Rogue Nation” but they had scheduling conflicts that prevented that.

The Ertz review fucking baffled me. I have drifted away from football over the last few years—I still kinda-sorta follow league news and read shit and occasionally catch games or highlights, but I’m nowhere near the fan I was for the first three or so decades of my life. I knew there was a lot of bullshit about what

that will be in March 2018

Ahhh! Condorman got mentioned somewhere outside of 1981! Yay! I’m probably one of the only people who lovingly remember that wacky Disney movie. Worth it for that Oliver Reed line alone.

“profound, euphoric confusion”

Made of real Wookie chest.

They really like the vest!

Thank you, this helps.
