At first I didn't like how unsympathetic they made Valencia, but after hearing people talk about how unlikable they find Rebecca every episode, I realized we don't need our protagonist actively trying to sabatoge a likable character's relationship on top of everything.

X-Men would make a great tv show. Lots of characters, most of the powers can be done with a fairly low budget, and there are plenty of memorable storylines that are either 1. not notable enough to get their own movie or 2. too long or complicated to be told in just one movie.
