True, except she said she was "down to her last thousand dollars" in the Good Person episode, so theoretically all her money now should be from her Whitwfeather job, a job she got by emphasising how little money she would be willing to accept.

The show really does have a complex understanding of emotions, all of the character's problems come from a very real place in way that other shows don't. It's hard to describe why that is, but it just feels so real.
