To be fair, the fact that tv shows last for multiple years means that you're going to get a lot of repeat nominees.

Wow I actually had no idea The Wire never even got nominated for best drama. That's…unsettling.

I'll defend The Emmys here. Their recent Modern Family kick is really off-putting, but they've consistently given awards to great shows like Mad Men, Breaking Bad, and 30 Rock. Hell, they gave Arrested Development a statue back in its first season.

There's no way this year is worse than the year The Artist got nominated.

Everything is awesome…except racism.

Who keeps The Savage Land off the maps?
Who keeps The Skrulls under wraps?
WE DOOOO

There's a huge difference between saying "I think this show would seriously harm AJ" and "I think Lana would deliberately put AJ in a situation where there is a good chance that she would be seriously harmed." Lana has no idea that she is a main character on a tv show, and thus is unaware that her child could go

If that's not a TV Trope, that should certainly be a TV Trope.

I don't remember seeing the promos, but I was also pretty sure Manny was gonna be a villain, just because one off characters that get a lot of dialog on this show usually turn out to be villains.

I feel like there's a sitcom rule that the significance of one sitcom regular's child will be canceled out if that character has another child with another regular character. See also: Friends.

The biggest flaw in that plan was how easily Manny could have gotten killed by Archer. Like, how could anything think that was a good idea?

I really, really want to know what Steven had to do to get that high five.

"You're friends with Lars?"
"Sure, isn't everyone?"

Yeah pretty much.

You should read a synopsis of Final Fantasy VIII sometime.

There was that whole #canclecolbert thing last year, but that blew over pretty quickly.

Shit, parodies of The Graduate could be it's own sub-inventory.

I think it's hard to argue that dedicating your life to fighting evil is creepy in any context. Fighting evil is pretty much always a good thing to do.

That would need a whole 'nuther inventory, friend.
