I find that part time Best Buy and Jimmy John's employees provide the best financial analysis anywhere on the internet.

No one is saying it, because everyone already knows. 2 months since the beginning of "wake up procedures" with absolutely no word since then is pretty much all that needs to be said.

Sounds like you *need* a pickup truck with 4wd or a jeep. With the next to non-existent ground clearance of a car like the BRZ, AWD wouldn't do anything for you that a set of blizzaks couldn't do.

I always find it kind of funny, how do you think people drove in winter climates before ~1980?

Why do you need AWD in a sub 200 hp, 2700 lb car with 50/50 weight balance?

Yea, I was gonna say, it really wasn't the dealer ads on CL that are the problem. It's the unintelligible garbage "private" listings and usual flea-market clientele.

It's also an ancient chassis, long in the tooth design, overpriced for what it was, and its parent company will likely not exist within 5 years.

Do people actually buy cars through CL or Ebay?

It's a purely electric setup, the gas engine basically acts as a glorified generator for the batteries. It's the same general setup that the Fisker used, basically the opposite of a conventional hybrid where it's a gas powered car with an electric helper motor.

What exactly are you comparing? The Model S starts at 73.5k, gets an alleged 250 mile range, and you better hope you know where a charging station is when the battery dies, you'll be there a while. The ELR is 75k before the 7500 dollar fed rebate, has an electric motor with a gas backup engine, same as the Volt's

Old Swedish guy? Don't you mean Chinese venture capital firm?

Cadillac isn't selling their $75k ELR to whiny millenials who hate cars, can't crane their neck up from their iphones, and complain when they can't call off two days in a row from their 18 hr/week part time job. They're selling it to the boomer crowd, who did the 60+ hour week, and at least at the time, got paid

Thinking that a bank is going to send people out to the ghettos of pontiac michigan to see if people are winterizing their pipes is a lot more so.

Dude, it's Detroit. I think the numbers right now are something like 1 out of every 290 homes is in Foreclosure. The banks know they're going to be selling these houses for 10k at auction anyway, they don't care.

Does your bank stop by your house every year to make sure it's in good working order?

I seriously don't understand what you're trying to ask. From the articles it seems like this woman owned the house, so who do you think would be stopping by to look in on it?

Tim Lincecum morphed into a Giants fan? Impressive.

They're not wrong, you know.

Sweet.

Hey look, someone else watched True Detective on Sunday.
