In Taipei right now, it only began to rain heavily over here about two hours ago (around 8pm local time), but normally Taipei doesn’t suffer too much damage, since most typhoons hit the mountainous east coast first and get a large part of their structure torn apart by the 10,000+ft. mountain ranges there.
