One of the best, wildest cold opens I’ve ever seen, fucking loved it.

That bridge crew development subplot would have gone a lot further for me if they’d given him an actual scene doing some evacuating (and in a more interesting setting than everyone queuing up to get transported...) and having cause to relay his background while helping someone.

It was pretty directly implied in Michael’s big come together speech there, about Bajor and Cardassia overcoming their differences, but hasn’t been brought up otherwise.

Caught myself wondering about the quality of the citizens’ vegetable aim during the procession, so it was nice to see it mentioned afterwards (even if we were denied seeing Liandrin’s radish moment).

It’s been somewhere around 20 years since I read the series (up until 10, I think?) so I was extremely hazy on the details, and had many, many moments of either I Imagined That Differently or I Recognize That But Why, but that made it fun whenever something clicked and memories opened up.

Sarah booted Kayla from the ship without a pod, and she wound up in Cuba for our Kennedy football episode. Whether or not her alien physiology helped her survive it, well, who knows, but it’s possible.

I also suspect this is something we’re going to circle back to because they’re in the time stream, not space, and she’s gonna pop out somewhere, pissed.

Didn’t get to last week’s episode until yesterday, so that was a couple of greatroaring hours for me last night.

I think the only way that could have been better would have been figuring out a way to work the old bads in too, absolutely lovely seeing (almost) everyone again. The Grey/Gideon duet was the easy highlight for me, but the early team’s personality clashes were great and I forgot how wiry their Hawkman was compared to

Water 7 through Enies Lobby is the best chunk of One Piece for me. From focusing on my two favorite characters in the series (and roping in a new one) to a bunch of great side characters, some fantastic fights, the leveling up of their conflicts with the Navy, alllll the ugly crying, and Luffy getting his first major

How does Mick feel about craft beers?

My teenage weekend league self was also yelling about the scoring, as well as the overall structure of how they were playing, but eh, I’ll take some That’s Not How Bowling Works over the usual That’s Not How Computers Work.

Puzzles & Survival looks like a pretty blatant clone of Puzzles & Dragons, which is pretty fun and kept me engaged for a few years before I stopped playing gacha games cold turkey. If you don’t mind anime gachas (and are aware of their pitfalls), I’d recommend that over whatever dodgy bits you might run into with Surv

Not a single (doomed or otherwise) call out to Heimdall for a lift off of Lamentis?

The series was amazing for most of its run, but this week’s finale (which was half recap!) was very much Not Good. They continued to add more (admittedly interesting) balls to juggle right to the end, instead of working on really resolving the ones they’d already introduced. Worse, the big ones they did provide

I just want to take a moment to appreciate the entire mood of that concept piece.

Late to the thread and most of the good stuff’s already been covered, so I’ll just tip my hat in appreciation of Behrad’s drawl.

No mention of her rogue status, but the Treehouse segment confirmed that the E.M.M.I. are made by the Galactic Federation (can’t find it again for the exact name, but it seemed like they were more of a research bot)

You could’ve used your genius for good

The reason it caught my attention was that in the comics, at least what I read, is that in Thor they did a massive storyline with Loki where Kid Loki was able to rewrite his role in the mythology and to change it to something less inherently evil.
