I have a friend who regularly saves drunk weekend tubers after they’ve floated downstream and into the Arizona desert. One girl told him she thought the river just circled around and you’d float back to your original spot. You can’t make this stuff up.

That part about hormonally treating a 3-year old is the most troubling thing, because it’s so veered off from truth. Nobody is, and it’s insane to think that any reasonable, or even halfway decent Dr. Nick sort of doctor would go along with that notion.

Nobody, but the same people spouting this line are the ones who legitimately think they’re aborting full-term babies. They’re falling for propaganda hook, line and sinker.

i feel like letting kids mess around with gender and gender roles until they settle into one or none is a perfectly acceptable way to parent.

By the same token, if there wasn’t such a very strong “black males are more likely to be sex offenders” bias in our white supremacist society, I’d be less willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Some of them but not all of them.

Not sure, but this is definitely “after” science. 

I think what they’re trying to say is that Spike earned his soul back; Angel got his shoved back in as a ‘curse’ without actually doing anything, so his soul can get chucked back out on a whim. A sexy, sexy whim. Whereas Spike’s soul isn’t going anywhere.

Technically they could still “Renew” it, it’s just that none of the creators involved really want to continue the story without Pratchett.

It’s over-hyped, inferior, and leaves a lingering bad taste in your mouth. 1985 rightly rejected it, but 2019 deserves New Coke.

This particular case may be in Kansas, but woo-ism like this is not limited to one geographical area, and knows no boundaries of race, education, or economics. For every God-botherer in the mid-west or south, you’ll find a new-age hippy, or soccer mom getting garbage from Bookface, on the coasts.
