I'm nauseated now.
This link here to The Atlantic tells us why we aren’t imaging it. And I’m willing to bet most people don’t like it. Going out to eat isn’t a pleasant experience like it once was. There are no quiet corners to hide in.
Everything has gotten louder- when was the last time you were on a quiet restaurant?
Yeah.....ummm......
No, you’re not vain at all.
The PMRC has won I see.
That was a great album and tour. I found the show I was at on youtube. It made me wish to be 19 again.
Shivers. This song sent 15 year old me over the moon. It links to the video. I was a huge INXS fan back when and one day reading through music mags I came upon an article about Michael Hutchence filming a movie. That movie was Dogs in Space. I found the sound in 1987. I loved the song and found a few other Nick Cave…
Well he’s been making records since the 70's. Google Boys Next Door, The Birthday Party, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Die Haut, and Grinderman. Though, up until Tender Prey it’s not accessible for a lot of people but it’s brilliant. The song that sold me was Shivers by the Boys Next Door.

It should be like Poke-Man Go.
Meanwhile I’m here twiddling my thumbs waiting for a Northern Exposure return......
As a kid, I’d spend hours upon hours on a raft, so this would be awesome.
This is mostly miserable. But I do sort of feel bad for Shelley.
I tell ya, it's bizarro world out there.
Oh, and does anyone else remember when the X-Files used this song?
Nick Cave being popular is a weird concept for me- I’ve been listening to him for longer than I care to admit, 34 years or so. I don’t begrudge him or his bands the success. It’s just weird, he’s like a gothic Neil Diamond now.
I loved the stuff- my various roommates and I did a ton of it in the early 90's and we always had fun. I remember walking around different sections of Boston. Harvard Square was always quite fun but one of the best trips was when I was walking with my next door neighbor, in the rain in the middle of December about 2…
