The Greatest and Silent generations were the same thing. I believe the one before it was the Lost Generation, those that came of age in WWI.
Mine were of the Silent Generation- my dad was born in 1928 and my mom 1934. Boomers tended to fight in Vietnam and the Silent Generation it was WWII and Korea.

Way back when we it the 10 cents sale and each roommate would get a whole case of ramen and Mac and Cheese for 2.40. Add some peanut butter, garlic, broccoli, protein, soy sauce, and whatever spices we had to it and the ramen was good.
