I REALLY enjoy these writeups. Keep em coming!

Don't let the size of the roof fool you. It takes 3 adults to haul my top off and carry it to it's summer resting place behind the shed. Those suckers are HEAVY!

As the owner of an 800, obviously I'm a bit biased, but there is a lot to recommend here over the Scout II. They're smaller, lighter and more maneuverable. They're less complicated, mechanically, and easier to work on. I think there are approximately 6 moving parts under the hood of my Scout, and it'll still run if 5

I called the police to report the break in, but I'm the one that found the GPS for sale and arranged the meeting with the thief. The police just showed up at the meet to make the arrest. Just a couple of dumb neighborhood kids, obviously not professionals.

Matthew Mcconaughey?

My very first car was an '82 Xj12. When it worked, it was a thing of beauty. I'd love to see the return of the XJ in either/both coupe and sedan versions.

And to think, my '69 800A is smaller and has considerably more rust than the above Scout II. I will say, the lack of power steering and power brakes makes me a VERY cautious driver when I'm out and about in it. I think everyone could benefit from a little time behind the wheel of a vehicle that FORCES you to drive

I already own one. Can I write for you :)

IH Scout 80/800, but I'm strongly biased :)

Anyone remember what they had into it, or if they even disclosed that? I was thinking the whole time it was going to be damn hard to turn a profit, now I'm wondering if they did.

Do it! And then let me come see it :)

I thought the answer was always Miata, regardless of the question asked :)

Not a bad cover really, but to me, it tended strongly towards the massive overproduction that seems to pervade music these days. What happened to 4 or 5 guys (or gals) just rocking out with their instruments? Simple yet powerfull, without the need for a full choir, strings, a bazillion guitarists and a drum kit the

Watching Craigslist and the like for parts is definitely key. That is in fact how I (with the help of the coppers) caught the sneaky little bastards that broke into my car. My stolen GPS popped up for sale the very next day after it was taken.

I had assumed they would be ASS and HAT.
