Agreed. Americans have short memories and tend to be reactive instead of proactive. Tbh most SUVs today are crossovers based on car platforms, which have pretty good fuel economy, while offering better functionality, handling, awd, and a high seating position.
Gps would be disabled by the US military and Glonass prob isn’t as far reaching? I remember that during the cold war Russia tended to build more and bigger nukes to compensate for the high failure rate and poor target precision. I bet this torpedo and their questionable hypersonic missiles are primarily nuke armed to…
Wait, so you’re fine with a bunch of random strangers driving around your hood over fully autonomous vehicles, which have a better driving record than the average human? “Availability heuristic bias”
A similar mentality as the “truck bros” blocking Teslas? Cultural changes are hard on some. I heard there was a lot of backlash against the first automobiles 100 yrs ago as well...
I’ve also got one of those cheap Chinese bands that supposedly measure blood pressure and even oxygen but how does it actually do that and for so cheap?
With modern sensors n stuff, I propose cars have external airbags in place of bumpers! Attractive, functional, and safer for pedestrians.
Yeah I’m excited about my t-mo V20 finally getting O, but I'm doubtful about Pie...
No, ideologically it shouldn’t be about money but the reality is it is - especially after Citizen’s United. The Dems can keep being righteous and out of power or they can accept that they have to play dirty too and unfortunately be just as hypocritical.
You’re listing compact SUVs, but the HRV (and Juke) is a subcompact. Last year I was gonna replace my beloved little Fit Sport 5MT with something a bit bigger, safer, and more capable and tested the HRV but couldn’t get AWD AND stick. You can in the Subaru Crosstrek, but the mpgs sucked and you can’t get active safety…
Honda still offers a stick in the higher trims of the Accord and Civic. Not bad for a safe, roomy, comfy, high mpg SUV that out-corners the Mazda.
Love the new RDX. I couldn’t find a gently used older one or CRV that wasn’t almost as pricey as a new one - so I went new. I will say that our insurance rates dropped a lot despite the MSRP being almost double. It’s because the CRV has such a good crash rating and Honda Sensing active safety stuff.
We were considering the Crosstrek and gorgeous CX5, but the CRV was beats em both in practicality and performance. http://www.motortrend.com/cars/honda/cr-v/2017/2017-honda-cr-v-vs-2017-mazda-cx-5-comparison-review/
Loved our efficient nimble Fit, but after witnessing several bad wrecks we traded it for the new turbo CRV. I don’t generally like SUVs, but this one has a good safety rating, active safety, good on gas, and still pretty nimble.
Didn’t work for me - musta fixed the bug... Oh wait - yes it worked when I used 3 dots.
