Honda still offers a stick in the higher trims of the Accord and Civic. Last year I was gonna replace my beloved little Fit Sport 5MT with something a bit bigger, safer, and more capable and tested the HRV but couldn’t get AWD AND stick. You can in the Subaru Crosstrek, but the mpgs sucked and you can’t get active

Last year I was gonna replace my beloved little Fit Sport 5MT with something a bit bigger, safer, and more capable and tested the HRV but couldn’t get AWD AND stick. You can in the Subaru Crosstrek, but the mpgs sucked and you can’t get active safety stuff unless you go for the CVT.

Not bad for a safe, roomy, comfy, high mpg SUV that out-corners the Mazda.

Love the new RDX. I couldn’t find a gently used older one or CRV that wasn’t almost as pricey as a new one - so I went new. I will say that our insurance rates dropped a lot despite the MSRP being almost double. It’s because the CRV has such a good crash rating and Honda Sensing active safety stuff.

Loved our efficient nimble Fit, but after witnessing several bad wrecks we traded it for the new turbo CRV. I don’t generally like SUVs, but this one has a good safety rating, active safety, good on gas, and still pretty nimble.

Nice. I still have my 97SH with a very few subtle tweaks, but mostly stock. I’ve been daily driving it since the 90's because it’s fun and super reliable. I’m glad I’m not the only one still rockin these things.

The prelude was always a tech testbed for Honda and some of that ATTS tech lives on in Acura. My 97 SH has given me 20+ yrs of fun daily driving and my Atts still works fine today.

I still have my 97SH too. These things refuse to die and I’ve had to do almost nothing major beyond consumables. I wish mine wasn’t black though. Keeping it clean has always been a nightmare.

I bought a 97 Prelude SH almost new and still daily drive it to this day. I’ve done all I could to keep it looking new, but mechanically it’s needed almost no repairs in over 20 yrs - beyond consumable. That’s insane to me. I also have a new big comfy CRV, but you don’t get attached to those things...

I’m a middle aged guy who still drives his black 97 Prelude SH and have been since the 90's. It refuses to die and still puts a smile on my face.

Yeah I hear ya. I finally bought a crossover myself, but kept my 97 Prelude SH for the weekends.

Now playing

I can’t hear the name of this vehicle without thinking of this song.

Several 5th gen 1.5T CRV owners threads are awash with complaints of the fuel/oil dilution issue. Mine is doing fine thankfully.

Canyonero!
