Agreed. It's a fantastic phone for the money and sure, a new startup with a shoestring budget has to resort to some creative (and risky) viral advertising to keep costs down. They're also a mostly foreign company that might not fully grasp the political correctness of western media. I'm also not too concerned about

Agreed. You'd think the expensive new iPhone would've had good ergonomics, but perhaps the Apple Care division is benefiting from this. Not to bring up the OPO again, but it's back is nicely curved with a textured rubbery grip, while still offering a display as large as the 6 plus.

Those are good points and I do share many of those same concerns. I guess I do fall into that niche and I would think that many readers here would too. There are several new "flagship killers" for a midrange price coming out (zenphone2, Alcatel, Lenovo, etc...), but they aren't on the market yet and I'm not sure how

Agreed, but my guess is that the majority upgrade their phone so often and now want a slicker metal n glass body that's harder to add removable stuff.

I was upgrading from an LG Optimus G Pro and have always wanted phones with a micro SD slot and removable battery. It was a requirement that was getting harder to satisfy. I was on the fence about the OnePlus One due to sealed battery and storage, but it comes with so much of both (yet fast and cheap) and I honestly

Agreed about getting rid of the invite sys but, I literally got an invite within half an hour after registering on the OnePlus forums. Once you get the invite you just have to be sure you really want the phone and pull the trigger. I was upgrading from an LG Optimus G Pro and was strongly considering the Moto line and

Yeah, I got an invite within half an hour after registering on the OnePlus forums. Once you get the invite you just have to be sure you really want the phone and pull the trigger.

I wanted the Galaxy Mega for it's huge screen, but the resolution and hardware specs were awful. Remember guys, it's not the size that counts, but performance...

Best value and near stock OS.

The Nexus line was one of the best values out there, but not anymore. The OnePlus One is still one of the best bangs for your buck in specs, quality construction, and OS (Cyanogen). The only real downside was having to purchase it through a nebulous and limited "invite" system. That's no longer the case since every

If you buy cheap you sometimes buy twice. Having been a poor college student in an industrial design program, I had to balance what I could afford with what I knew was a cheaply constructed or designed product. I tended to buy the best or nearly the best products that were gently used, factory refurbished, or last

Could've used this info Friday when I heard of Leonard Nimoy's passing while at work...

Scotty, one more to beam up.

Agreed - if you can find a clean one. I'd also say it's larger cousin, the Prelude, is an equally reliable used 90's sport coupe with fwd, 5 speed, with just slightly less performance numbers due to it's more luxury touring focus. Mine is almost 20 years old, still has all original major parts and I'm still daily

Here's your reliable used 90's sport coupe with fwd, 5 speed, making around 200 hp, weighing around 3k lbs, and a 0-60 sprint of around 6.5-7 sec. Mine is almost 20 years old, still has all original major parts and I'm still daily driving it to this day. I have the Type SH version with the torque vectoring sys that

Agreed. The Probe GT looks better.

Well I call em Iron Eagles!

Still not impressed until I see this for real...
