Oh, I agree with you totally about most of these HD trucks never doing what they are made to do. But the ones that are used properly will do their jobs quite well.

A semi would work well for pulling, but not for also getting supplies in town, going out for dinner, hauling fence posts/dirt/dogs/workers, driving off road through pastures and fields (possibly with the trailer attached), and so on. A semi pulls just fine, but then you'd also have to own a normal sized pickup to do…
