Umm. I think I am really going to regret asking this but ... well ...

@RPharazonius: As a Bach nut myself I agree wholeheartedly. I think the idea of Mozart-in-the-womb is to get you over the whole Mozart thing early and before it matters.

I was told that Mozart does the stuff.

@Woodwater: About the lack of challenge/pointlessness:

Me for Wii Music definitely. That game will have hidden depths.

@KaneRobot: I'm a dedicated Wii-man, but did buy a PS2 only a month ago (teenage daughters = Singstar). Do we care about new titles? No, not really.

@unleashbass: No difference to me. I always finish last in these things anyway.

I guess you have to start at the back of the grid then. Plus, it will all end in tears when the safety car comes out.

@BtownDesignGuy: Which would be fine if he just said "we had a better press conference". Except he didn't stop there and got himself tugged into non-speak, like

Speaking of vacations, where was Don when it came to responding to the June NPD?

@ISAAC76: Exactly. There's a difference between "Nintendo's holiday lineup" and whatever else may come out on Nintendo boxes. I'm hoping a few may yet emerge.

About Reggie's promise:

It is all too easy to get caught up in the games/non-games argument here. Instead of that, here's a quick look at some past parallels.

@DerrickDS: Spot on, DerrickDS. Nintendo have shown that you don't need all the bells and whistles to have a compelling sports game.

Well, I found that an interesting E3, but mostly for what was not there rather than for what was.

@Ehardergardens: Tricky indeed - and I got the calculation wrong in my last post on this.

@bodmodkub: Software attach rates (from NPD April 2008 via joystiq)

For all that I'm looking forward to the 1:1 control (for at least some games), I hope Nintendo don't ditch the older control scheme.

Good move by Ninty. Even better move (despite some of the other comments) to bundle it with the sports game. Means they'll build critical mass very quickly to reduce manufacturing costs and give developers confidence they can develop for it.
