Regardless of its impact on the election’s outcome, saying that Trump losing the popular vote does not matter is ridiculous. The Republicans act like there was some major mandate for Trump’s agenda, when in reality more Americans voted for his opponent and he only won because of a 40,000 vote difference in MI, PA, and…

It does matter, because he wasn’t wanted by the majority of the voters. He’s a fraud and shouldn’t be the president.

I don’t get it? He’s underqualified because he hadn’t read the book? I know of actors who participated in Game of Thrones, Harry Potter and The Walking Dead who have not read the source material. Were they also underqualified?

Fortunately the Republicans have scheduled another 30 swearing in ceremonies for Kavanaugh between now and Election Day to keep their righteous harrumphing fresh in their supporters’ minds. 

I have no doubt that the GOP base was energized by the specter of a man facing consequences. But it’s also only October 9, and the election is a month away. I think incandescent rage has a longer staying force than righteous harrumphing.
