NOW the GTI comes in green? Figures they’d wait until the model year after I bought mine.

It might be possible, but there’s a difference between “possible” and “going to take all week so screw it, these tires only had 10K miles left on them anyway.”

Depends on where it was from. As it doesn’t seem to have been done by the Dept. of Transportation but rather done by maybe a leaking tar truck, whoever’s responsible for that truck would be responsible. BUT, that’s only if they find it.

My first car was an ‘86 LX-i. Handled surprisingly well for a mid-80s sedan. Mine had lived a rough life and had a fair amount of rust on the underside when it came into my possession in 1996. The transmission was on the way out when it was totaled a few years later, but the engine was still going strong at 186,000

Very nice. They can stuff it.

Ditto, but I figure that I’m likely on there already, so may as well satisfy my curiosity while I’m at it.

My 2015 3.5 Ecoboost hauls ass by most standards. Reviews I’ve seen have 0-60 at under 6 seconds, which is pretty dang quick for anything but serious sports cars/sedans. There’s so much power it’s really easy to run out of traction at the rear. There’s not a lot of vehicles I can’t hole shot in that truck. It’s the

Well, it is, but I’m pretty pleased with it as it is. Just don’t feel the need for more speed out of it. If I wanted more speed I’d have bought an R.

Do you need the speed given twice?

It is amazing how much better they are. Not just in the snow, but on ice too. The amount of traction good winter tires can find when there’s just none to be had is unbelievable if you’ve never experienced it.

There is a fight in the cockpit? What is it?

Not everything gets to be Wrath of Khan (worthy successor in a popular sci fi type series, high quality cinema in general). At most, we’ve seen ONE Star Wars movie that was close- Empire Strikes Back, and even that one had its own issues with continuity. Star Wars is popcorn munching escapist space fantasy fun.

It’s Star Wars. Not Casablanca. “Lots of style, little substance” is practically invented for films like Star Wars. Yes, ALL of them. Fun movies. Not high cinema.

Just get another sponsor for the series while you’re at it:

I really do think autonomous cars will make the biggest splash with the senior citizen set. They’re usually afraid of driving anyway- their reflexes aren’t what they once were, they’re not able to keep up with traffic, they can’t handle darkness or weather conditions. Autonomous vehicles would allow them to maintain

Eh, I’m sure it’s nice to drive, but wow. Ugly. Looks like a refugee from a low quality anime cartoon.

It’s not nearly as lipstick red in person. It’s actually very attractive and a little more subdued. Everybody who sees my wife’s car loves the red interior.

It definitely does that. We’ve had ours for a couple years and it’s only ever needed the basic oil changes (24K miles so far). It’s been absolutely solid in the reliability department with no signs of that changing at all. While I have my issues with the ergonomics of the thing, mechanically it’s absolutely sound.

Comfortable? You must be tiny. My wife has one of these (2015, AWD) and while the seats are fine (well, the front ones, I am not convinced humans fit in the rear), getting in and out drives home the idea that this car was designed for Japan, not America. I’m no small person (on the taller end of average height, large

So... about a hundred per yer out of how many vehicles?
