The thing I never understood about the 2012 Iggles-
The horrible truth about Leonard Tose- most beloved owner in Philadelphia history. I mean, if your stadium was the Vet, and you could clear all your gambling debts by moving the team...I mean, I hated it being an Eagles fan, but *Chris Rock voice* I understand.
Oh Dear God yes. When I heard Braman was a victim of Madoff's fraud scheme, I cheered.
Who would have had higher scores if Madden (in its current form) was around, 1990 Randall Cunningham or 2004 Vick? Randall was as fast as Vick, had a cannon of an arm...plus you could use him as a punter! (Madden was around in 1990, but wasn't licensed by the NFLPA, so no real teams or players were used.)
Bill Hicks on hooligans:
For a second I thought the headline was "smartest", not "smarmiest", and I almost broke my monitor.
Another impetus for those congressional bills was the near-move of the Philadelphia Eagles to Phoenix. Leonard Tose, a nice guy with a massive gambling problem, had nearly gone broke (he eventually did go broke, and only avoided being homeless by the generosity of guys like Dick Vermeil), and found a sweetheart deal…
That paragraph about the second target group? That's me. Crap.
Had to bring the room down, but Tenta might have taken that job at Dillard's for health insurance. He retired from wrestling in 2004 when he publicly announced he had bladder cancer, and he passed away in 2006 at the age of 42.
I'm a nerd- I actually worked out the math problems. (I had a 780 in math, 690 verbal in 1988. Like I said- NERD.) For the formula/graph problem - all the values are one greater, so it's f(x) + 1.
I'm going to hell, but +1.
I was driving around, listening to the NJ Nets radio broadcast, when Vanilla Ice came out. Best line came from one of the announcers, who said, "I wasn't sure if he was going to do "Ice Ice Baby" or some of his new material."
