It's true: the Colorado Rapids are the worst-run MLS club with its own soccer stadium (no, Dallas; no, Chicago). When you have NFL owners lording over super-empires (see: NE, COL, DAL) who don't give a shit, then you have a product not worth talking about.

To add: if MLS gets screwed in this New Money Soccer era from any source, it'd be those designated Big Clubs(TM) who poach players with a whiff of skill and send them to Europe. The league's gotta get ahead of that, or it'll come back to bite them in the ass. We'll go from Scottish League to Nigerian League in a

This is probably the best article about what MLS should really do that I've read on this site — or any site. No "MLS SUX LOL" patronizing; no "US SOCCER CARTEL MLS KILL THEM ALL" hysteria, and most importantly no kissing up about how "MLS SYSTEM NUMBER ONE".

Don't forget the Sounders. You don't routinely outdraw twice as much as the next team and look at your squad and say, "Yeah, just having three stars is good enough." Fuck no.

As a fan of the sport since I can remember, of an MLS team since I was young, and of European football since I was pubescent, I know what's wrong with MLS.

It's more rooted in infrastructure. MLS would have to flip upside down (or cease to exist in some way) to allow it right now; the NASL and lower leagues (including MLS' semi-feeder league, USL-Pro) probably need promotion/relegation right now.

Do root for who you want to root for; even if MLS is seen by many as the Single-A to Europe's Major Leagues, roll with whomever gets your blood boiling. If you're screaming at the TV towards Aston Villa, or at the stadium towards the Dynamo, do it.

Not such a good look when said network was a Stanley Cup partner at the time. Yeah, screw the cup, right?

What can I say? Florida Atlantic v North Texas really gets my blood boiling. I'm really looking forward to TBA v TBA the most.

Personally, he'd fit better for the Chicago Fire.

Also picked City second and Chelsea first last year.

I've known that Real Madrid sponsors a basketball club for as long as I've known international basketball existed (10 years). I endorse both selections fully.

Timbers are messy to begin with in MLS itself. In my unbiased opinion, they could probably hang on with a relegation-level side. A teens finish in Ligue 1.

Clearly: Prem, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Portugal.

Ligue 1, though MLS won the ATTENDANCE CUP YAY.

Not mentioned: the fact that not only was Erxleben a stupid pick (being a kicker in Round 1); also that he's been in and out of jail for some good ol' white-collar fraud. Round II was this past year. Son played (kicker, go figure) for Texas Tech.

Remember which country we're talking about here.

It just reinforces the opinion of America. White America has so-called guilt up to their freaking knees so they must be contrarian. The cop was justified, I bet it said. He was a thug, I'm sure has been thrown around.

Justification of death because of perceived theoretical criminality.
