I was *very* concerned during the beginning episodes that I would actually end up hating April. But, she later shows herself to be caring and her "cruelty" seems to be more of a silly affectation.

I will! I kept putting it off for…well…years. Now I can binge on it. It's good for my mental health to see a well-written program that isn't "dark" or "mean-spirited." Sure, I like those types of shows, but not all of the time.
