Thanks.
Thanks.
As a POC, that has stuck with me. Maybe if I watch the documentary, it will soften my attitude. But white women falsely accusing black men makes me pretty damn angry.
Well, I kinda love that song. Perhaps my favorite Bond song.
That was the impression I got, too. I don't know what the African-American woman was using as a target, but she wasn't harassed…so maybe it was a human silhouette.
Cool, then let's hatch a plot blacker than the kettle callin' the pot.
{smile}…well played.
I don't expect any one experience to change your views on all related things. For instance, I really don't like most easy listening pop-country, but I love Glen Campbell's "Wichita Lineman". I still don't like most country, though.
I don't dislike it…but I think his voice is the weak link in Hamilton.
Makes me feel sad for the rest
Now let me handle my racists, DAMN!
It's certainly *different* than Sondheim.
I think it would be beneficial to have someone who disliked the musical to bring a dissenting opinion to these pages. There is something to be learned from them
Nice catch, Penguin. I had never thought of it that way.
Small price to pay, yes? I catch myself in that (minor) mistake sometimes.
"…on paper it sounds like the world's stupidest idea…"
From what I've heard (*ahem*) there are some torrented files of the entire musical. In fact, an entire (unauthorized) film of the musical was on YouTube for a day or so. So, I got a chance to see it. The quality was pretty good.
Can I be real a second? For just a millisecond?
Yeah…I'm sorry they were so troubled by fans. Vince G. (great rap name, BTW) often spoke out against fans bothering the homeowners.
Whew…I've always thought I was the "only one." Convenience store unwrapped food is…disturbing (to me).
I'm sure "Breaking Bad" had a bit to do with that, too.
