Strange, huh? And the poster seems antithetical to the message of the show.

Thanks for sharing the article!
Yeah…that poster struck me as an odd choice. The first time I saw it, I thought it was for a different show. I don't quite get why they "sell" the show with that.
I was just teasing you about your weekly "Predator again" comments.
That's the same sense I got…but the comments here don't seem to reflect that.
I've said I'd never run a marathon. You have given me reason to reconsider that stance.
I'm assuming you're trying to lose weight, so congratulations (?)
"Ate some cake…"
I know! It's always the same thing. Over and over. Every time. Never something different.
That's unfortunate. It's important in science to publicize mistakes/errors. (I'm assuming that Tyson hasn't done so).
"…lost in the erasure of nuance that seems to be an ever-present danger of Internet discourse."
Have you checked to see if he has given any response to the (legitimate, it seems) criticism against his statement(s) about the astronauts in "Gravity?"
The comments in this thread are…passionate.
Yes! This behavior would not be allowed in my home, either. I don't know how to feel about this and Pamela. Based on the actresses NPR interview, she seems to be at a loss when it comes to disciplining her own kids. (She speaks directly to this). I wonder if this is peculiar to Pamela or (god help us) it is…
Is that anything like getting schwifty?
I just started watching Silicon Valley. I finished the first season and, quite frankly, I didn't think it was anything special.
Are you referring to the reporters in Gremlins II from Channel 9 and Channel 11?
Yeah…I should just get on the bus and go…
Don't be so sure it was Spike Lee. Maybe it was an inside job.
Wonderful.
