Stress dreams were the worst! Now I only stress dream about moving.

Some people age quickly in one area and not in others ;)

For me, college WAS the best thing ever - it finally got me out of my little antisocial shell of safety. But I never want to go back to living like my 20 year old self again, especially in a tiny liberal arts college full of trust fund kids.

Exactly! I stressed myself out so much in college by just WORRYING when I wasn't working that I SHOULD be - entering the workforce was a relief (that was pre-recession). It didn't help that I killed my brain trying to make it learn Ancient Greek - that dictionary was open on my lap all day, every day for three years.

It's just weird to me how the life-stage expectations for celebrities are so different from us unwashed masses. Everyone praises them for getting married and having babies early, while in the rest of the country the average ages of marriage and childbearing are going UP. Why is Miley being praised for pretending it's

David Letterman's sense of humor is really only funny to other retirement-aged people. He's always reminded me of my friend's dad who would say a bad pun, then grin at us waiting for a forced laugh.

It's like the day after the 2004 election. We all sat around brooding. It felt like being at a wake.

He's got to be the target. Arrest the fucker already. It's time for Illinois to pass the corruption torch.

Tumors are scary in ALL forms. My dad had one on his pituitary too. It bled. He almost lost the use of his eyes - the neurologist told us if he couldn't open his eyes by himself they might have to do surgery to open his eyes permanently. He's recovered, but nothing is more terrifying than seeing a parent suddenly

Seriously. A year ago my dad was diagnosed with a benign pituitary tumor after he lost the ability to open his eyes and his electrolytes dropped dangerously low. It was scary as SHIT because it took them almost a week to figure out what was wrong as he deteriorated. Now he has to get hormone checks all the time.

It gives you that nice sense of "well, I did THAT, so I wasn't TOTALLY worthless today." I know it's really getting bad when I find myself thinking oh, what's the point of exercise anyway, I'll just lie here for a while and watch sad television.

Yeah, it's great for the angry depression. Or the boredom/unemployment depression. Usually going to the gym is the only thing that makes me feel like I've accomplished anything that day.

It works if you concentrate! If you're trying to just show that pfft, this is EASY, then it bites you in the ass.

It's like your excuse to discover awesome people.

Thousands upon thousands.

He was on Girls last night and it's worth it just for his "mashup" of Len and kids laughing in a playground! I would TOTALLY have his babies.

"Ray Wise, Ken's father-in-law, killed Laura Palmer on Twin Peaks." DAMMIT SPOILERS!! (I just discovered Twin Peaks, only 20 years late?)

I think it was more that he was British and part of the war generation to boot - none of the other partners have ever been concerned about embarrassing themselves (except maybe Pete).

Jeez, Lane, way to take "Death before Dishonour" way too far. What are you, Tennyson?

@keythah Ah, damn. My doctor told me when I got the copper IUD that it can last several years beyond the "expiration date" and my brain interpreted that as "blocking your tubes" but now that I actually think about the ultrasound image, yes, you're right.
