Good for you ! Now, that picture... It is from a Superbike race.

Good for you ! Moto GP is awesome.

Welcome back, Elizabeth.

Pretty smart from BMW to specify a drag inspired custom, since you can’t ride feet first with a flat twin...

I’m not sure it’s a good take. Sometimes manufacturers make mistakes (sometimes spectacular, see Michelin at Indy), sometimes, as that’s probably the issue here, the teams push things too far. That’s the nature of the game. At some point F1 had quali engines that lasted just a few laps before failing...

Since I was replying to your reply to him, I thought it was ok ? Kinja is still a mistery to me after all those years in grey. No need to apologize, though. Context is powerful thing.

I would not presume why some drivers refused to kneel, but let it be clear that, in a euro context, they would have faced zero backlash if they had : Nobody gives a shit here if people kneel or not. It’s a US thing. No anthem or veterans would have been disrespected. or not.

Abitboul is not “ brown”. He’s most probably a sephardic jew. His name is, anyway.

The kneeling during the anthem thing is purely american, and the BLM slogan is american too. Fighting racism and promoting diversity should be universal concerns. But to demand from F1 drivers, mostly europeans, to act like a NFL player is shortsighted cultural imperialism. If Verstappen or Grosjean do not want to

The coolest Aurelia :

Tell me about it...

Godspeed, Max. I enjoyed your contributions, and the A310. Even though I’m still in the greys !

Now playing

This.
Is there any other rider in history that can save front wheel slides like Marquez ? It does this on a regular basis and it’s mind blowing.

POG is not French, but (french speaking) Belgian. And kind of a douche...

In fairness, Ferrari have been in the sport since day one. And without them, Formula one would be just a british club, not the huge global sport it is now. F1 did well without Tyrrel or Brabham. It could do without Williams or Red Bull. Ferrari, I’m not so sure.

The first gen Renault Twingo had such an option in the late 90’s. It had a regular pattern 5 speeds gearbox with an automatic clutch. The Twingo Easy. I drove one as a loaner once. It was really OK, but I believe it was soon replaced by a conventional auto transmission.

Since the Yaris GR is on the list, there are other solid european options not included in the list.

They buy Toyota. Not an unproved truck from an unknown company with zero technical support.

Your point is well taken. Now, the engine is now pretty competitive, Renault has a glorious history in F1 and the budget cap should help a lot. I would love to see Cyril gone, though. McLaren had to get rid of Boullier to find a new momentum.

Well, without having ridden one, I’m tempted to vote NP. It’s an interesting bike from an interesting brand. I like that it’s largely unmolested. (The air filter may be ugly but it’s the original design and most of those have been replaced by aftermaket contraption). It’s a weird looking bike but I like it.
And, yes,
