Me neither. But that’s not really the point, isn’t it ? Harley riders are not the only douche bags running obnoxious exhausts. There are plenty of super loud japanese or italian sports bikes. That’s hardly HD’s fault.

I really don’t get the jokes about the HD engine being old and obsolete. That’s the whole point, being old school. And the engine is the best part. The only redeeming feature of a Harley, really. It’s glorious to ride, in its unique way. I won’t buy a Harley, since I don’t care for the phony cosplay, and the price tag

There’s no way I’m buying a car from someone with such a sloppy collar and more bracelets than Jeremy Clarckson.

In all fairness, I think the postal Apes were at the very end of their shift in the mid 90’s. And they were never as popular as in Italy, of course. Or in India...

Nothing compliments a green corduroy blazer and white loafers better than a baby blue tie.

AC ? In the 70's ? In the UK ?!
AC became really common on euro cars in the 90's. Before that, it was a rather costly option. I would be surprised if it was even avalaible at extra cost on cars cheaper than an a Jaguar in 1976's UK.

They weren’t uncommon in France, in the last century. The postal service, notably, used those triporteurs for decades.

The french sculptor César also did many “directed compressions”, starting in the 50's.

I did rent a manual diesel 4wd CX5 a few years ago, for a couple weeks, in France . I really liked it. Good engine (pretty punchy in its class and very smooth for a diesel) and nice gearbox, great handling for a SUV, quiet and comfy. I averaged maybe 38 mpg in a mix of long distance highway driving (85 mph) and

The HY pre 2010 plate only means that the truck has been registred in october 2009 by one of its, probably, many owners, in the Charentes département (as indicated by the number 16). Funnily, it’s one of the very last plate with the old system started in 1950, as it changed in 11/2009.

Agreed !

A taaaaaaaaaaannnnnnk !!!

As a french guy, I would love the Cadillac, but it probably won’t be a match for a 406 on a a challenging road. Those Peugeot were great handling cars, with a very good suspension.

In winter, the fishing sucks...

I see what you did there !

Actually, the GS predate the CX by several years.

Actually, no. All the controls are nicely lit even when the tacky ambient light show is turned off. Source : That’s how it works in the cheaper rental B Class I’m curently driving and both interior designs seem pretty close

Fun fact : The Mulsanne straight’s real name is Hunaudières straight (ligne droite des Hunaudières). People translated and transposed everything, back then.

Her dinner table seems like a great place for a mother to feed her kid. That was really weird (and rude, obviously) of you.
