I was a technology manager for many years. In the FBI or governmental factories, etc, I don't know how the economics work. But in business it wouldn't be used if it didn't ultimately provide better results or lower costs or most likely both.

Funny but I kind of thought the same thing. Who could he get? Tim!
They usually provide dialect coaches to try for authenticity. Some people are just a lot better at sounds than others. In the first episode one agent asks Stan if he has an ear for language…he doesn't.
Henry is The American in The Americans. The title has been ironic but Henry will bring his family along I think.
In that respect they are sending us mixed signals about Philip. But in Season 1 he wanted to live in the US because the life was better and they could have money. Now he hates the USSR and what it is doing to him and his family, what he has to do for the service. I don't think he will go back; even if he lives. He…

Oh no I am sure they did but it does not matter the reality I think it is Elizabeth's mentality.
I think its gonna be "My Mother the Mail Robot."
I am holding out hope against hope the writers aren't taking some easy way out with Henry. I think he should be the pivotal character at the ending. THE American in The Americans.

Gotcha. No I did not expect it I just meant to allow for the possibility. Besides they'd have to age Henry and Paige (well presumably) and that's hard to do.
:D
An excellent point. I was thinking about that and said "how could you even ask that, it is so obviously what she wanted, and she wanted you to tell her they are wrong!" But it does in fact give them motive to send Henry away.
On Christmas Day 1991, the Soviet flag flew over the Kremlin in Moscow for the last time. We have six years to go. This will not be a fall of the Soviet Union thing unless they do some time jumps.
