I was a technology manager for many years. In the FBI or governmental factories, etc, I don't know how the economics work. But in business it wouldn't be used if it didn't ultimately provide better results or lower costs or most likely both.

An excellent point. I was thinking about that and said "how could you even ask that, it is so obviously what she wanted, and she wanted you to tell her they are wrong!" But it does in fact give them motive to send Henry away.
