I don't know if the writers/produces planned this or if the episodes
have just had to cover so much there wasn't room for Henry stories. I
do have a suspicion that a large plot is coming which will revolve
around Philip's sons.

It's not done. Mischa will either meet Philip or die trying. And that will have an effect of Philip for sure.

But that's not what they say, just he's good at math. And Henry may be good at math but not good at learning it himself and he's going to be a year behind in it when he starts Alg 2.

He had a phone number to call with a DC area code I expect.

I don't believe this is the end of that line. They have spent far too much time building this story to just end it here. Either Mischa and Philip meet or something really bad happens to Mischa (fatal) and Philip finds out about it. The story is going to be critical.

I was really surprised by that scene. I mean, Philip and Elizabeth have their deficits but at the very least I expected they would have done better with that situation. At least they'd have continued the conversation some…oh well needed for plot I guess.

Henry will stand up for his family when the time comes. Remember how he rescued Paige from the weird guy in Season 1? That's about all we have ever seen of the real Henry. It will be back.

Bobo I guess they still do have lotus conversion ability. It used to be that Excel had such a capability. And the good news is that it is likely not that big a job to do such a conversion anyway. I don't know much about Lotus so I don't know how it formats files but I would assume the data in there is ASCII and

As a plot element it's fine but in reality it doesn't work. Now I speak as a former math teacher…Perhaps Henry is really good at math and could do Algebra2 instead of Algebra1. Oh wait. To do Algebra 2 you have to already KNOW Algebra 1. You can't just pick up whatever you missed as you go along. More than any other

That's before he met the math teacher. She wants to take Henry to sleep away Math Camp, which is why she's talking to the parents. Next episode. New take on spying altogether.

So you are correct but now there's a problem because that kid is not 13 by a long shot. Keidrich Sellati is half way to 16 and he looks it.

It seems to me that anything a character does is probably something the writer's put in the script for a reason. It's not in watching it something that looks like an actor's spontaneous choice.

I don't see that as realistic because the KGB does not have the time or resources to be bugging their own agents in place 20 years. If they had serious doubts they'd rely on Elizabeth to be that "bug"; and if it really required them to deploy several agents to get the intercepts and review them he'd be more trouble

No it's time for Henry to step up in the story somehow. I have heard several credible theories. All I think of is that scene in season one when he hit the pervert with the beer bottle to protect Paige. Henry will do whatever he can to protect his family, but I don't see him becoming a spy…he's the American in the

The objection I have is that I see Henry as the American Kid for the series. Paige is not, she's gonna be the junior spy and she's more serious than her peers, etc. Henry has always been a counterpoint to the Soviet Union for his parents, and a kid who charms without trying much, esp Stan, and overall as American and

I have a theory that Henry is having an affair with his math teacher.

No he was 11 in season 1 so he has to be at least 15 now

On the other hand Henry and the Robot will doubtless have period-appropriate Lifestyle Condoms.

It was interesting to see Eliz turn on the water for her talk with Paige, a common anti-bug precaution. However it seems to me that it's hard to justify unless it's just an ingrained habit. If the Jennings seriously were worried that they are bugged by anyone the JIG IS UP and it's time to grab The Kids and go back to

Sadly that doesn't seem to happen a lot on this show. It is running up for it's finale and I do not forsee a happy ending for anyone.
