WERNER HERZOG BITCHES!
That is all.
WERNER HERZOG BITCHES!
That is all.
Imelda is alive and well, y'know.
DEAKINS!
Roger Deakins was visual consultant. He was also visual consultant on WALL-E. If there were awards for visual consulting for animated films, he ought to win all of 'em.
Happy Ending
So has she given one? Do we live up to the stereotype?
Speaking of Shoggoth. Happy birthday H.P. Lovecraft.
Agreed.
You might solve a mystery!
Dammit
Mendoza won? We're never going to hear the end of it over here.
Independencia
Are you going to see Raya Martin's Independencia? I'm curious what you'd think of it.
Mendoza
Mendoza's really interesting in that all he really wants to do is translate news stories from our country into films. They're like news dramatizations, minus the drama. He sticks a camera in the middle of the action, and lets stuff happen. And if adding anything to the scene will make it less real, he won't…
Because adults tend to have hearts, you heartless bastard.
Fox owns the show, I believe, so it is unlikely that new episodes would appear on another network.
Maybe eating the crappy meat makes him more of a man of the people. Because the people eat crappy meat, I guess.
Forget the mustard
Medium well?!? That's a crime against beef!
I need more of Creed playing chess, telling everyone what they don't want to do.
What did you think of his films, then?
Paranoia Agent is his only series.
2046 really suffers in comparison to In the Mood for Love.
Paranoia Agent
I've always thought that Satoshi Kon was more suited for crafting anime series, where he has more space to develop and focus on his ideas. Which is why my favorite work of his is Paranoia Agent.
Portastatic
Call it indie rock heresy, but I'm starting to enjoy McCaughan's work on Portastatic more.
