I was in the pub with a soldier (Royal Artillery) home on leave from Afghanistan last week. For what it's worth, he said he has a lot of respect for the Taliban - not their ideology, but their skill and their ingenuity. I don't think he'd have a problem with playing as them in a videogame. Just saying.
