Fair enough. It has been a while since I saw the show and I do recall Laura’s betrayal rendering him inert so okay I’ll buy that reasoning.

No, he’s saying that he’ll denie the “FAKE NEWS NETWORKS” his glorious and distinguished presence. And most of America will be like...

Oh, please do this. If 2016 showed us nothing else, it showed us finally, once and for all that these things don’t mean a damn thing. Trump came across as a a the completely unhinged, stalking, psycho nutcase that he is in all of his debates with Clinton...and it didn’t matter.

This is regurgitated NY Times talking points with the most unfavorable items cherrypicked from the Washington Post article. The original article has more context and is far more balanced.

Realistically, you’d have to put some limits on a kid with Kal-El’s powers. Children are always doing things because their emotions overwhelm them and they’re not considering the consequences. With a normal kid that could be smashing a family heirloom in the midst of a tantrum; with him, it could be hurling a car

And she has the finest medical care an army of Democrats can muster

She has the strength of a bear...that has the strength of TEN bears!

I’ve heard about that too. But I also heard Laura’s role was expanded from the book and she became a better character (at least according to some people). The same could’ve been done for Shadow as well. Not to say I hate the character or Ricky Whittle, but I just found him plain.

Yeah, I’m having trouble seeing how “Kal’s adoptive parents are afraid of him and teach him to hold back” is any better than “Kal’s adoptive parents teach him not to help people.” What if we just stick with “Kal’s adoptive parents teach him the value of life and instill good morals”? Seems like a character with that

Jerry Lee is the last (and worst) man standing.

No, but I’m sure she’d say, “At least they’re not brown!”

This. That’s how you know these people are fooking stupid.

This was my son, who is now 15. The downside was he never wanted to order from the kids menu, the major upside was we could eat anywhere and he was (and still is) always excited to try something new.

I hope he is poor his entire life.

This does not surprise me at all. About 15 years ago, I rented out a room to students on internships for 3 months, most were international but I would occasionally get an American one. All of them were white, it was very interesting seeing them manage race in my home.

I work in Hoover and yes, can confirm.

horrible behavior. But just like those catholic school kids, look for a “I was unfairly targeted” interview soon, and maybe a lawsuit for libel and emotional distress...

Seriously anything where parents laugh at their kids that isn’t “child crying because they threw their own cake on the floor and now no longer have cake” types of situations is not funny to me. That poor kid is so confused. Is she supposed to eat the cheese? She has no idea. She even offered out her hand to ask for

I’ve always liked Brendan Fraser and he always seemed like a standup guy. If I’m rooting for anyone to have a comeback, it’s him.
