Mythbusters probably came on TV too late to change what I do, but Grant certainly made me want to create contraptions. Incredibly unfair that he’ll never make anything again.  His passion probably helped fuel thousands of kid’s passion for it too.

Calm down there - lets be civilized.

Not sure if it glitches with the dexcom app. By my count I have 5 apps so far that refuse to open. Definitely wouldn’t risk it.

I don’t get it?

The Rebel TRX looks like a confederate flag belt buckle in vehicle form.

I’ll give a pass for any actual work truck (the dakota is pretty cool too, no hate there). The brodozer ones speak for themselves

The new RAMs have the most kitschy interiors I’ve ever seen. They’re comfortable, and the Rebel was the least kitschy, but they’re pretty tacky. The Laramie smells like glue inside on a really hot day. Imagine a themed hotel where it’s just derivative decorations everywhere you look, reminding you of which theme you

Is it new enough to be one of the waterproof ones (i.e. Series 2 or newer, I think)?  Then why not?  I don’t make a habit of it, but I’ve definitely showered with mine.  And they’re supposedly designed for swimming.  Series 2 and newer have ISO ratings down to at least 164 feet, theoretically.

I swim with my Series4 and swam with my Series3 constantly. Never an issue.

Just a pat on the head for the ‘steal your face’ (Smilin’ Jack?) avatar, in addition to your contribution.

Do I like it, yep. Would I drive it, yep. Is it fairly well done for a project, yep.

the real answer is to change the laws to not require front plates.

Good point. I know that there are a shit-ton of “lawsuit-era” Les-Paul copies out there but they are not true “law-suit” era guitars. The only true “law-suit” era guitars are the Ibanez Les Paul copies with the “open book” head stock. Once Ibanez changed the headstock Gibson had no legal recourse to sue Ibanez.

Which is really unfortunate because Dr. King had some dang good things to say over the course of his life. But a lot of us white folks think that just quoting him is all we need to do to “solve” bigotry.
