Yeah, I know- my dad's '03 Taco was subject to this recall, and he got an all new frame, suspension bits, brake/fuel lines...the works. I told him if he fixed the body rust before it got too bad, he'd have a 200,000 mile, brand new truck.

Agreed, but it didn't help that it rained yesterday so much of that stuff froze last night, too. In the Western Fairfax suburbs, the roads were often quite icy. Lovely stuff!
