Yeah I think you are right.
Mitsubishi Eclipsarossa MR2 V6
Legit Street Cars can fix it and make it worth something but it is a solid ND.
I am just impressed he has not perished from Tetanus.
It is like a cafe racer crashed into a flat track bike and then landed on a R9T with the fender removed. Pie cut pipes are beautiful
As soon as I hit publish I was thinking about early Toyota Tacoma’s specifically in Hawaii. Beast mobiles. I posted for the same that you mention. Jeep Gladiator, Silverado AT4, F150. I also consider off-roading to be more rock and trail and less Baja shenanigans.
Trucks.
Yes indeed. I replaced with something not so great and then got a quadratec aux led kit. I just used that on backroads and night and called it a day.
I miss my 01. 33's, lift, aussie lunchbox and it was fantastic offroad. Headlights sucked. lol
1. Simplicity of a Wrangler TJ (I exclude YJ because leafs) was wonderful. No real options and everything was basic and just did what is needed to do. With some minor mods you could have a blast on most trails.

Jeep 4.0 V6. Exhaust manifold prone to crack, remove cylinder heads to replace. Ugh. Also anything with vacuum tubes for days (looking at you VAG).

I see the BRZ/86 as a throwback car. 2 door, long hood, rwd and meant to push on a back road. What is the use of having 800hp/400hp/200hp when you can’t use it all. Something like a brz/86 is really appealing because you can use everything it has. Full disclosure I have not driven one.

South of the Border. If you have traveled up and down the East Coast you will see the billboards and you will stop once and be disappointed.
Tesla really pushed the EV forward. I will say made it possible as no one really tried to make an EV that people wanted to drive. That being said it is time to sell to an experienced auto maker and retain sw rights but add some configuration management and testing.
