Not knocking the obvious health benefits, nor am I saying it’s guaranteed that gaming will become an addiction. I said it is a little risky, as in I have concerns. People already spend almost every hour of their waking day on their phones, eager to see the next stupid tweets from some jerk or another.

“Gamification” might not be the most accurate term to use in the title of this article. Gamification is specifically the application of game-design elements to non-game systems. This article’s really about how gaming is improving mental health treatment - a little different than gamification.

Unfortunately, to me, this sounds like a case of replacing one addiction with another. Though, I know that some of my Brothers would benefit from that VR therapy.
