I just can’t get over the idea that the average streamer is expected to be on air for 8 hours a day. Not even old radio DJs or news show people ever did anything that long.

Man, it’s always marines vs. aliens. Just change it up a little bit. Hillbillies vs. Aliens? Agent 47 vs. Aliens? 12 year old children vs. Aliens? Admittedly, these are terrible examples that will never happen. But imagine if they did?

Do any of the colossi count in Shadow of the Colossus? The game could be either nothing but boss fights, or have no boss fights at all depending on your perspective.

There is only really one Boss fight.

I’m not sure if this would count because honestly the fight itself wasn’t terribly difficult if you cheesed but the ending of Dead Space 2? Holy shit, I will never ever ever ever forget.

Might think I’m crazy but I freakin’ loved fighting Alma in Ninja Gaiden. Tough and demanding as hell but mechanically pristine.

Face-melting-take: boss fights are usually my least favorite part of a game and generally I do not really enjoy them. The only right answer is a game where boss fights are explicitly the point - so it’s the sandworm guy in Shadow of the Colossus for me.

I’m sure Nintendo is very capable of doing that themselves, but I do wish they would work with indie developers like they did for Cadence of Hyrule, the potential is off the charts. Let Super Giant make a Metroid game or something!

As a data scientist/statistician , I really don’t understand the hatred for Metacritic. Averages can be a good way to orient oneself when exploring data and trying to understand an underlying process. It’s only the first step but it’s still a useful metric. Dude. Cate Blanchett getting cast in an Eli Roth driven Borderlands (aka a garbage fire) would no more grant legitimacy to video game movies than Bob Hoskins did for them in Super Mario Brothers.
