You can tell America wins at democracy with how much time we spend on it without actually achieving any semblance of it.

A presidential campaign in now about 2 years long...and mid-terms...its as if after winning the election you have 6 months to get something done before everything must stop for midterms then about a 2-3 month gap and onto the next presidential election.

“I sure hope — we’re in Bernie Sanders’ backyard here in New Hampshire — I sure hope he intends to show up in his neighboring state”...“There is nothing worse than a debate about debates.”

I don’t know, seems pretty easy to me, like not outrunning your headlights. You know the braking distance you need, so if you can only see 10 yards forward, you need to drive only as fast as you can go with that amount of distance for braking.

I used to have to drive over a mountain to get to school. At the top, there was very thick fog many mornings, but it was also a highway, so the speed limit was 60. They put in led lights in the road like a runway so you could see, but you still couldn’t see more than 20 feet in front of your car some days, so you are

Now playing

Yeah, reduced visibility, better keep the posted limit...

And that person is exactly Why I support making drivers license a LOT harder to get and keep. Honestly every 5 years full road test, prefer to be in a simulator with simulated dangerous situations, and a 300 question written test with an 80% required for passing. Two tickets or one accident when at fault requires

No, you slow down in inclement weather due to things like decreased traction and visibility.

Slow down to what? 20mph? 40mph? If there are no signs saying slow down to x mph then how do you know what to slow down to?

I stand corrected by multiple replies, and I agree with them. This is an awful idea. #kinjaTakeBacksies

No. Never do that for several reasons.

“If there are no signs saying slow down to x mph then how do you know what to slow down to?”

Depending on your speed, it takes about 3-4 seconds to come to a complete stop. Look for a sign post on the side of the road, once it comes in view you should be able to count to 3 before you pass it.

Never get out of your car in such a clusterfuck!

Fog is terrifying to me because of idiots who don’t slow down at all, or very little. It’s sad that so many feel that fog, heavy rain, and other inclement weather are not good reasons to slow down. Flat out dangerous.

But yeah, I agree with your sentiment. I normally stick to the far right lane and keep pace with

Oh dude, the shit I see Rxed... I’m always surprised when other people are surprised at how fucking clinically inappropriately a huge segment of medicine is. I thought it was common knowledge.

I do, too, but I think I’m just going to start biting. Either they move or i go to jail. Win/win.

I do this, too. They move out of my way.
