I wonder if JK Rowling realizes that everyone is wondering how much she farted into this chair when news stories like this get out.

But...several people have answered all the questions, including me. Some of these things aren’t plot holes and are actually explained in the film. I didn’t catch a lot of them the first time around either but I liked it enough to go again and pay attention to things I didn’t get the first time. It helped!
