The model 3 is doing well because it is stealing people away from the BMW 325 lease specials. Its priced right and as a “luxury compact car” its right in 325 leasers target zone. Used to see them everywhere, now i just see model 3s.

I always think it’s sad when musicians get trapped in label deals, but was there a specific reason she wanted to renegotiate other than “I got famous faster than I thought I would and want a bigger slice of the pie faster than what’s stipulated in my contract”? As dumb as the outside looks, the inside is much, much worse. The plastic fantastic interior is the number one thing keeping me from getting one.

The real problem is that by all accounts you only get anywhere near that range if you live somewhere with a mild climate, and are continually conscious to drive the car like it has half the advertised power.

That makes a lot of sense. I forget to take the “you walked into a dealership” discount that Chevy puts on everything into account. I actually like the Bolt for what it is, but I feel like people automatically skip over a compact hatch at that price unless they’re getting into a Golf R

Theory: The Bolt would probably do better on the market if the styling was more “small crossover” and less “glorified Spark.” It’s actually pretty tall, so they could pull that off.

The free snacks are part of the difference between a bar and a tavern. I would eat any other food the place made. Plus its not like you are all dipping into one big bowl. They give you your own basket.

I don’t know how to explain it but it does not, to my eye, flow or match with the rest of the car.  I also think that squaring off any large section of a sedan (or coupe, any car-shaped car really) is not appealing visually

How is this an actual Tesla S rival if it’s a concept. It won’t be a rival until, you know, it’s in production. It isn’t any more a rival than Rivian or Faraday or Sony or any other company that is still just making pretty concepts.

I love it but lets face it. Its not going to happen. At least not very similar to the concept. Suicide doors and no B pillar? Yep. Not happening. 

This is a largely striking design that is failed completely by the whole back end.
