Again, a “good” card starts at around $600 (GTX series), which means you only have $400 left over for storage, case, chipset, memory, etc. One TB SSD costs $120, 16gb RAM another $100 or so, etc. Not easy to build a $1000 VR rig without a game or VR headset.

Right, play subpar VR games/demos and that $1000 rig will only be decent considering a good card costs over $700 to start.

I can easily afford it, yet there are hardly any decent VR games, hence why less than 2% of all PC owners on Steam even claim to have ANY type of setup...LESS THAN TWO PERCENT! Heck, Sony has all but abandoned their VR setup/games.
