I think Netflix/Marvel need to calm down. They are pushing so much content and cross marketing. The things that worked in Daredevil Season 1, is that we didn’t know what approach they were going to take. It wasn’t bogged down by any more mythology or in-universe stuff unless they wanted to introduce and use it.

State of Georgia vs Rick Allen is the best crowd-funded thing ever. I can’t believe it’s real.

I guess I’m not understanding. This looks like a DDR thing, but it’s actually the button in the center that is important? Like a DPAD for feet? At first I thought that seemed a little easy, but upon further thought, it does bring some interesting weight distribution and balance issues into the equation in a big way.

I think you are correct, Tracer knew where the pulse bomb was and tried to hide inside blast radius. Tracer never had any doubt about the pulse bomb.

KQLY was not caught in a major event?

Team collusion and betting? That hasn’t happened? There have been many instances of this definitively happening resulting in DQ’s and bans from major events. That’s what is CAUGHT. It is against the organizations interest to really ‘catch’ things in the first place.

Yeah, this...unless it isn’t all a scam to begin with.

This is so ridiculous. MMA fighters are the worst in regards to telegraphing and sloppy technique. There is no way this is a fair fight, and there is no way McGregor wins or even gives a decent showing.

It totally makes sense, after I wrote that, that actual sports organizations are getting in the game of e-sports. They have tons of experience at this stuff, and can pull every game in the book in a lawless unregulated community.

Gimme a break, this is worse than the beginning of American Baseball. Betting, Throwing Games, Collusion between teams, hacking (yes, it HAS DEFINITIVELY HAPPENED AT LAN), lax infrastructure that seems to encourage such play.

Look up the recent Byali phone incident. He was allowed to connect his phone to an event PC, ‘to charge it’, until a ref noticed and made them disconnect it. Damage is done at that point and cheat injected in memory the moment that phone was connected to the PC, IF he was cheating. Whether or not you believe he was

There are a couple ways that have been caught in the past. The players I believe are still required to log in via Steam accounts. Isn’t that how the Steam Workshop hack was loaded at that one event?

That’s rough. Well wishes for Zack and his family.

I forgot that every time something tangentially associated with MGS happens, we all need to collectively splooge...even if it is regarding someones death. It’s MGS guys!

It’s freaking Metal Gear. I dunno why the game is lauded or people investigate the story and have wiki’s built around it. It’s garbage nonsense. The writing is laughable, the plot is incomprehensible and character motivations make no sense.

Game is broken. netcode is awful. Bethesda has been deleting threads in the beta forum for several closed beta cycles now.

I called this way back before The Force Awakens: the concept of Light and Dark (Good/Bad) is at worst a lie perpetuated by the Jedi, or a fundamental misunderstanding of the force.

You mean, if content creators want to earn a living off their content, they should rely on external funds, rather than the advertising bubble YT built? It’s disintegrated. Advertisers realize it doesn’t work and it doesn’t target anyone. All that money is dried up.

YouTube monetization was designed to bring in talent and advertising funds. Advertisers have discovered investing money into YT channels does not impact business. A car insurance commercial attached to some kids Minecraft channel doesn’t increase ‘optics’ for ‘some reason’. Advertisers pulled back, and YT got scared

Well, in a strictly legal sense, hacking damages the longevity and integrity of their ‘COMPETITIVE’ game and other investments attached to the title. They have the right to protect those investments and prevent someone from infringing.
