One of the things I’m looking forward to most now in the MCU is the inevitable meeting of Wade and Jen and their fourth-wall mutual recognition.

If they really wanted to blow people’s damn fool minds, they’d end the show with an abrupt segue to the cast of The Tracey Ullman Show (i.e., the Simpsons voice cast) performing a completely unrelated live action sketch.

Comics and TV are different media. I’d say that Jen climbing out of the Disney+ menu was pretty close to what Byrne did.

Honestly, I think it’s all in her head. The whole thing. I smell multiple lawsuits incoming.

The issue is that Indians, themselves, prefer and use “Indian” in multiple contexts. My cousins live on an Indian reservation and nearly everyone on “the rez” uses Indian and dislikes “Native American”. White “allies” are concern trolling rather than listening to their voices.

This article did really poor job describing what Indian pudding actually is. All they said at the beginning is it’s a “a porridge made with flour, milk, and sugar and served as a side dish.” Then they talk about the history of cornmeal, with a brief mention of some spices completely separately multiple paragraphs…

Eternals absolutely should have been a TV series — the film introduces way too many characters and doesn’t give them room to breathe. TFAWS could have been great as a series with better writing, but if you’re assuming the same quality of writing then it would have been better as a movie because it would have trimmed…

Id rather the shows have been longer, they all pack so much in and barely any of them feel like they get satisfying conclusions by the end of the season.

Falcon and the Winter Soldier could have been two separate moves: one movie featuring Sam transitioning from Falcon to Captain America with more Isaiah Bradley, and a second with the Flag Smashers were he has to stop them but is sympathetic to their cause.
