Oooh! They think responding to advertiser pressure is liberal...when it’s really just corporate.
Wait...what? I’ve never heard of the sports business being referred to as anything but ridiculously conservative. Who in the world thinks it’s left-wing?
And once that happens, there are a lot of chips that will fall. All these expensive stadiums, for instance.
I’ve had very similar outcomes to yours on a few less campaigns. I find KS to be especially good for tabletop games for companies with a track record and reprints or expansions of existing media properties. I haven’t been burned on any computer games yet, but that’s definitely the riskiest category.
I actively root for whichever team beat my team so that I can delude myself into believing we were “really” the second best team, but with bad scheduling luck.
That’s fine as long as you actively root against the traitorous Titans.
This is exactly how it was for me...diagnosed in my 40s due to looking into a diagnosis for my son. Another wrinkle, though — as a transwoman, the fact that I had female-typical manifestations meant that I went even more under the radar until after my transition.
The thing that people are forgetting is that there were other Dems and third-party candidates in the race, too. He can get *very* close to 50% even without picking up any Republicans. This race is essentially a toss up at this point.
538 did a very thorough analysis a few days ago of what we could tell about the runoff from the primary results in this election. Bottom line, the point where it looked to be a coin flip was exactly where it landed...Ossoff at 48%.
I think right around hour 4 or 5 is where it opened up for me. I finished the first dungeon at about the 12 hour mark (but I’m old and slow). Persona 5 is at least a 100 hour game...you have to be prepared for that.
NYC has nothing on the south as far as roaches go. I grew up in East Texas, and every house there has roaches...the best you can d is keep the population down enough that you never actually see a live one.
Why would I be upset that someone else is treated well?
Here’s the way I understand White Privelege. It basically boils down to people are extra-helpful to people who remind them of themselves, or someone they care about. It isn’t about keeping other people down, it’s all these invisible, extra hands up to people you like. It’s about the time you didn’t call the cops,…
If there is merchandise, I would expect there to be invoices, and then a summary schedule of those invoices (maybe with copies). There’s got to be some sort of proof of sale, somewhere, for sales tax purposes.
We see it that way because those are the actual colors present. Everyone else is doing color-correcting in their brains...ie making stuff up instead of seeing what is on the page.
I don’t care what color the dress is. The *picture* is obviously lavender and gold, and that is what color I have always seen it as.
Check out Bates for dress shoes. They make uniform shoes and boots for the military, police, and fire departments, which means they have to have offerings available in non-standard sizes.
That’s one way to frame it. As someone very dissatisfied with the Obama-Clinton foreign policy, I can respect people who were deceived into thinking Trump would do things differently— as long as they are young enough not to have experienced Bush doing the same thing.
Surprise surprise!
